Re-elect Ricki Ruiz

No Decision About Us, Without Us -

Championing Progress,
Empowering Communities.

Priorities

Cost of living

Addressing the rising cost of living is a priority for ensuring that all families can thrive in our community. We must work together to create affordable housing options, support wage growth, and reduce the burden of everyday expenses like the increases in utilities, childcare, and groceries. By investing in policies that promote economic stability and fairness, we can make our communities more affordable and provide everyone with the opportunity to succeed..

Public safety

Ensuring public safety is essential to fostering a strong and thriving community. We must invest in effective, community-centered policing, support our first responders, and address the root causes of crime, such as poverty and lack of opportunity. By working collaboratively with residents and local leaders, we can create safer neighborhoods where everyone feels secure and valued.

Housing & homelessness

Addressing housing and homelessness requires a comprehensive approach that ensures everyone has access to safe, affordable housing. We must expand affordable housing options, provide supportive services for those experiencing homelessness, and address the root causes like mental health challenges and economic instability. By working together, we can create lasting solutions that offer dignity, stability, and hope for all members of our community.

Substance Addiction

Tackling substance addiction demands a compassionate and comprehensive approach focused on treatment, prevention, and support. We need to expand access to effective treatment programs, invest in mental health services, and reduce the stigma associated with addiction. By addressing the root causes and offering pathways to recovery, we can help individuals reclaim their lives and strengthen our communities.

Healthy communities

Building healthy communities requires a holistic approach that integrates health, environmental sustainability, and education. We must ensure access to quality healthcare, protect our environment through sustainable practices, and provide strong educational opportunities for all. By prioritizing these areas, we can create vibrant, resilient communities where individuals and families can thrive and reach their full potential.
